CPAA engagement cut across cybersecurity innovation, enterprise cybersecurity manpower development framework, policy and standards, IT project development, and techno-advocacy, ecrime countermeasures, Child Online Protection, Internet Governance, ICT social enterprise, computer hardware industry testing, IT stakeholder engagement in security and law enforcement industry.
CPAA is an affiliate recognised by United Nations, Our Chief Executive Officer is active member of UN-Multi stakeholders Advisory Group on IGF, African ICT Alliance, ISACA, CPN, Local Multi-stakeholder Advisory Group of Nigeria Internet Governance Process.
CPAA serves as technical consultant to Office of the National Security Adviser, coordinated and implemented the inter-agency development of a National Cybersecurity Policy and National Cybersecurity Strategy,(2013-14), developed the conceptual framework, government-industry partnership and multi-stakeholders’ input into the policy development process (www.cybersecuritynigeria.org.ng).
CPAA in partnership with GNC developed a framework for domestic e-crime countermeasure strategy for law enforcement culminating into Nigerian Police Cybercrime Emergency Readiness Team Strategy (NIPOCERT) under the Ministry of Police Affairs 2010-2013.
CPAA in association with Nigeria Internet Registration Association , conceptualized a strategic framework for a renewed effort on Nigerian Internet Governance and managed Nigeria Internet Governance Forum from 2011-till date (www.nigf.org.ng).
CPAA managing partner was the Vice-Chairman, Technical Working Committee on Nigerian Child Online Protection(2011-2013) coordinated the development of Child Online Protections Policy framework, Guidelines and Action Plan – covering five key areas ; security/law enforcement, education, ICT industry, Policy makers, and youth, with strategic action plan and engagement roadmap in his Capacity as the Vice Chair, (www.cop.gov.ng) www.ncc.gov.ng.
CPAA serves as Technical Consultant to various institutions such as Senate committee on communication on cybercrime (2010-11), Digital Bridge Institute on International Conference on Cybercrime organized by Nigeria Communication Commission-, in conjunction with George Mason University, USA- Nov 2010 tagged DBI 1st CERTAFRICA conference 2010 (www.ictnigeria.org). Technical Consultant to the Local Organizing Committee of the EFCC-led 1st West Africa Summit on Cybercrime in December 2010. The conference was hosted by Financial Crimes Commission of Nigeria (EFCC), co-organized by Economic Community of West Africa States (ECOWAS), United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and Microsoft, with the participation of a number of national and international organizations which included the Council of Europe, International Police Organization (INTERPOL) and Serious Organized Crime Agency (SOCA).(www.waccs.net).
CPAA lead Executive was the coordinator of GNC-IMPACT partnership 2009-2011 (IMPACT – Multi-lateral Partnership Against Cyberthreat is a global center for ITU’s 191 member states Global Cybercrime Incidence Response Center (Including Nigeria) with IMPACT’s expertise, facilities and resources to effectively address the world’s most serious cyber threats).
