CPAA Consults for NIGF-2013 LMAG

CPAA is currently engaged for the 2nd consecutive year by Local Multi-stakeholders Advisory Group (LMAG) in the provision of Technical Consulting towards the forthcoming Nigeria Internet Governance Forum 2013 (NIGF 2013). The engagement scope involves the following;

  1. Managing the event within timeline to achieve Forum objectives 
  2. Managing the official website, content dynamics and remote collaborations
  3. Event branding   

LMAG, comprising of the Ministry of Communication Technology (MCT), National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NIRA) and various representatives of key internet stakeholders,  is kick-starting the preparatory process for the 2nd Edition of Nigeria Internet Governance Forum 2013 (NIGF 2013) schedule for June 18, 2013 @ Shehu Yar’adua Centre Abuja.

The previous maiden edition, NIGF2012, was a huge sucess attracting over 400 stakeholders cutting across Government,  Academia, Security & Law Enforcement, Human Right  groups, ICT industry, Professional Bodies, Law and Policy Makers, Youths organizations, open source communities, Telcos, INGOs ,Media, Developmental organizations, Civil Society, Multilateral Partners, ICT industry etc.

Theme: ‘‘Internet Governance for Empowerment, National Integration Security through Multi-stakeholders’ Engagement’’ Featuring – Exclusive Business Opportunities in the Internet Industry for the Youths..

The Goal of NIGF 2013: Harmonization of National Multi-Stakeholders Positions based on the Global IGF framework covering; Digital Inclusion and Integration, Building Trust, Confidence, & Assurance on the Internet, Policy and Regulatory Model for the Internet, Encouraging Local Research on Internet Development in Nigeria, Addressing Infrastructural Challenges in the Cashless Society, Emerging Issues and Way Forward,
